The year 2022 for LCL Logistic was a very busy as well as exceptional time. Read what has happened for us this year.
ISO certifications
The company’s goal is to be able to comprehensively implement the most demanding projects. This motivates us to act and improve the quality of our services. It is this desire for development that made it possible for us to obtain, this year, as many as three ISO certificates confirming the high quality of the services offered through compliance with standards in the Quality Management System, Food Safety Management System and Occupational Health and Safety Management System.
Employees and safety
At LCL Logistic, we focus on the development of our employees. Through numerous training courses, we develop the skills and competencies of our team. We have organized theoretical and practical training, as well as the UDT exam, which entitles them to operate forklifts (I WJO). We conducted a first aid course, which covered the most important elements in this field. Also, in order to raise safety standards, we decided to change and update the horizontal and vertical signage on the warehouse.
Efficiency
We aim high, which is why we keep setting higher and higher goals, and for 2023 we have set the bar very high. Our 2022 team broke a record and received and released 823 pallets in a single day, with the shortest vehicle unloading time of 26 minutes and the average vehicle loading time of 47 minutes.
Support
Helping others is definitely an area in which we also want to operate. In cooperation with LCL Spedition, we were able to provide support to the University Hospital in Zielona Gora, which was looking for a place to store medical equipment. We also did our part in unloading, packaging, loading, securing and transporting donations from local collections, which were transported to the neediest regions in Ukraine. At the peak of the aid for Ukraine, more than 50 volunteers worked at our headquarters at the same time, and the whole action was possible thanks to the commitment of Ford Germaz Zielona Góra!
Development
A very important event for us was the construction and commissioning of a new warehouse, thanks to which we gained an additional 5,000 pallet spaces on high-bay racks. We also purchased Jungheinrich EKX 516 system trucks, thanks to which the work in the warehouse has been streamlined and partially automated.
We certainly count this year as a successful one. With great motivation, we can enter the New Year 2023 and constantly strive to improve the efficiency and quality of our services to meet all the needs and expectations of our customers.
